| Abstract: | The Coronavirus Disease-2019 (COVID-19) pandemic is a major public health emergency, which has had a profound impact on global public mental health. This article reviews the mental health status of the public, pandemic factors (novel coronavirus infection, isolation, unemployment and other stressors) and personal factors (adolescents, women, medical staff, and people with previous physical or mental diseases) that may affect the level of mental health. It also analyzes the countermeasures to improve the public mental health at the individual, social and national levels to provide reference for coping with the long-term impact of the pandemic. |
